1. Master Guard selling expensive smoke detectors threw Superior Fire Safety – Russelville, Missouri

2. Bob Schlingmann and wife have a quilt raffle to benefit Burns recovery group – Doug Allen made a motion to purchase 100 dollars’ worth of tickets, Tom S second motion and motion passed

3. March 7 seminar cancelled due to lack of interest

4. Jeffco 50^th banquet August 13, 2011 at DeSoto KC Hall guest speaker - Randolph Mantooth

5. Lloyd brought up discussion about state code bill and legislators to sponsor

6. April 2, 2011 – Valley Park, Jim and Sue will have a Shooter class on fireworks all day and CEUs

7. Dodie Graves made a motion to purchase full page ad for Jeffco 50^th and fire engine rally book, second by Glenn Nivens – motion passed

8. GFIs info sheet on code requirements for the past 25 years

Committee Reports

1. Metro fire marshals having training sessions after each meeting

2. Audit committee personnel are Joe Laplant, Tom Sagehorn and Dave Miller – still need to meet

3. A round table discussion with the county 8 am, every other week on Tuesday at Hillsboro

Education Seminar Committee

Good of the Organization

1. Sprinkler Alliance underground testing – inspection testing- maintenance of sprinklers

2. Clayton city has ISO Class 2 for commercial and Class 3 for residential due to lack of sprinklers in code for homes

3. MABIO conference at Tan –Tar-A on May 6-7-8

4. State Fire Marshal seminar on July 24-25-26-27 at Tan-Tar-A.

Training – Barney Hagen presented training today on Fire Extinguishers
