Old Business

1. Glenn N. reported that the Investigation vehicle is in need of several repairs. He suggested that the membership consider contributing to the ‘repair fund’.

2. Chris L. reported that all issues with downloads to iPad & Apple have been resolved..

New Business

1. The date for the annual Banquet has been set for December 15, 2011, and will be held again at the High Ridge firehouse (11:30am).

2. Chris L. reported that although the commercial fireworks display at Springdale Park & Pool went well, another unpermitted display was taking place within his jurisdiction at the same time. The person conducting this display was detained by State Highway Patrol.

3. Banquet discussion – Sue S. will obtain prices from several caterers and forward information to Gene R.

4. Glenn N. made the motion to budget $800 on annual banquet to be divided equally with the Investigators. Motion seconded by Chris L.

5. Discussion was held regarding ordinances – fire districts and counties.

6. John L. reported that HBA has attempted to introduce new items onto legislative bills.

7. John L. reported that there is a free auto cad program online: www.autodesk.com.

8. Gene R. reported that Arch City Drywall has closed.

Committee Reports – Nothing to report.

State – No representative in attendance.

Education Seminar Committee – It was noted that this committee will need to meet soon.

Good of the Organization

1. Nominations were taken for positions of Secretary (2-yr term), Vice President (1-yr term) and President (2-yr term) as follows:

a. Secretary –

Nomination for Dodie Graves made by Glenn N., Gary B. second. Dodie has been elected to Secretary.

b. Vice President –

Nomination for Terry Mueller made by Dodie Graves, Jeff D. second. Terry has been elected to Vice President.

c. President –

Nomination for Glenn N. made but refused by Glenn. However, Glenn stated he would accept the position of VP if Terry M. will accept the position of President.

Membership voted and passed by acclamation proclamation.
